Tattoos and piercings

I guess I am super Karen-y. If I ever saw my artist drinking that, I would refuse to sit for him, and maybe ask the owner to tattoo me. It makes for a shaky hand, and I like my guy to be calm in every way when he is coming at me with a needle. Especially since he does deep ink for me due to all of my scars. 😂
So your tattoos are over scars? Like scar cover-ups?

My arms, legs, chest, and stomach are loaded with self-harm scars. He has to deposit the ink just below the scar tissue or the tissue does not hold it at all. When he did the portrait on my right arm, he did not do deep ink, so the scars there show through it.

That’s good to know.

Oh wow, I had no idea they were so difficult to cover. Is it more painful then? I have scars on my ankles that I want to cover, they're like 3-4 inches long and pretty thick.

It depends on what type of scar they are. Most of mine are hypertrophic, and they hurt like a b**** to cover. I specifically designed a few of my forearm tattoos so that they would skirt those scars so that the needle would not have to touch them. 😅
