This was my first tattoo...it's a logo that was on one of my church flyers that I really liked. It's suppose to symbolize conquering the maze of sins...

Red is known to be the biggest headache (after white) when it comes to fading. It tends to fade so much so fast that it looks pink within 7 years. That was not the case for me: The heart in my cross tattoo is still clearly dark red, and it is 14 years old. But it is a known problem for a lot of people.
But it will all fade at some point. It should still be clear what the colors are in 20 years, but they will just be a bit lighter.

Unless you are someone that regularly gets 2nd degree or worse sunburns. Then the color is just going to be all out gone within 30 years.

My dad has a chest tatt in red, it's pretty old and partially faded but at least it's clearly red still.

What type of piercings?

A nose piercing and then I’d like to get a few more on my ears. I have a lobe piercing. I think I’d like to get another of those and maybe also a helix and upper lobe

In my experience, if I have a design for more than 3 months and I still do not know if I like it, then I choose to not get it. Sometimes the design just needs to be tweeked, but other times it needs to be either scrapped, or completely reworked. Have you tried playing with the design? It may become something that you fall head over heels for, or it may become a design boogeyman.

Oh, I love the design I have, I’m just undecided on if I want to get it or not due to other factors.

I used to mention that I would eat those when I used to bash veggies but I have since been told that potatoes are not vegetables they are starch.
