Tattoo's - show off your art work..

Edited to include photo!

I have the world's stupidest little rose tattoo that I got on my right ankle when I was 19 - my parents were miserable, which was probably the point back then. If I knew how to post photos, I would show you my son's beautiful tattoo memorializing my mom. We miss her so much.

WTH, Felon? Cock fighting in your avatar??? On your back??? BYC, do you all support this "freedom of whatever"? I'm thinking you do not. At the risk of p.o.ing the whole lot, I've got to say it: Cock fighting sucks. Bloodsport. Dog fighting sucks. Same thing. Nice username, Felon.

That said, I love BYC. Hope you don't tar and feather me.

I agree dogfighting sucks.

Shame on those who support cock, dog, horse or any other animal fighting.

Ok, that aside..... here's my DH's tat. I freehanded most of it after my transfer wore off.

90% my own design, I did use the head from another piece of artwork as my DH wanted it so.

Forgot to mention... this was my first and last tat!

I am a 2 time cancer survivor, first time in 1999 second time I beat it was in 2001. We have so much cancer in my family one of the big research centers ( M.D. Anderson in Houston) is doing a genetic study on the family. I told my children I wanted to get a tat (my frist) because of surviving cancer when some many in our family have lost the battle. I have been told that 23 people in 3 generations have had cancer out of those only 2 have won the battle. All I can say is God has a reason for me to have won 2 times. For Christmas this year my older son had a friend do my tat for me. It meant as much to my sons and daughter as it was to me that I did this. My dd even had her 2 dd there to watch.

Congratulations on your wins piecemaker. I know that all cancer victims are not as fortunate as you have been. My own sweet mama died at 47 of this terrible disease. Here's to your continuing good health....Laura

I just happen to know someone in the market.....lol

I have thirteen, but don't have pics of any of them. I have a large backpiece that still needs to be completed. The ink didn't want to take back there for some reason, it actually didn't take on the tattooist, either, so he ordered a new batch. Out of all of my tats, that one is the only one that hurt!

1st: Purple pegasus on left breast
2nd: Two purple roses with two of my kids' names under them (need to add two more), right calf
3rd: Playboy bunny, left shoulder blade (I know, I know, I know!!)
4th: Chinese symbols for "peace, love and life" on right shoulder blade
5th: Dragon on right shoulder
6th: Chinese symbol for "good luck" on right shoulder below dragon
7th: Tribal art around navel
8th: SAINTS BLACK AND GOLD FLEUR DE LIS, LEFT CALF (YES, I'm a Saints fan!!!)
9th: My grandfather's brand on my left shoulder (not THE brand, just a TAT of the brand!! It's been in my family for generations)
10th: Hubby's name on right calf (I said I never would, don't recommend it, either!)
11th: Custom tribal design with an ahnk across my back, still not finished
12 and 13: Fairies on each hip

I don't have many piercings, but here's some:

Ears done twice each
Navel
Tongue
Both breasts (is this a violation??? Hope not!!!)

Will take pics, possibly later on tonight!

Thanks Laura. We buried my dad (after a 2 year battle) the day before I got my frist diagnose. My treatment was very hard for us to go thru because it was so fresh with him. I lost mother 2 years ago to lung cancer

sorry don't know how to make the quote thing work
