The ayam cemani chick was doing amazing! Her foot was all healed and she was walking. Until she drowned. She was fine one moment, then about 20 minutes later, I found her too late. She must have lost her balance and fell in. Many people say to put little rocks in the water, but the water wasn’t even like 4 centimeters tall. I’ve never had a chick drown in that water. I feel horrible.

On a happier note, my first laughing chicken hatched!

Yesterday, I had assist hatch an ayam cemani. She’s all good now! Fitting in with the other Ayam Cemani sand laughing chicken.

The peacock eggs are on day 25 and internally pipped yesterday. I had to make a safety hole, since they didn’t make progress.

I do! 4 india blue peafowl, 3 white peafowl and 3 pied! The parents of the two babies are the india blue.
