Can you guys give this novice here some lessons on telling whether I have boys or girls? Please keep in mind that I am really new to this (so please use simple terms). Thanks!

x2There are quite a few ways to determine the sex of young chicken, depending on the breed, so it's hard to list them all here without pics. Here's an article that may help, it's very informational: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/is-my-chicken-a-pullet-hen-or-a-cockerel-cock I will say, however, that the most common way of sexing is by looking at the comb. Cockerels develop bigger, redder combs earlier than pullets.
