teach kitten to leave chickens alone?

I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to post this thread I didn’t know where to put it but how do you guys teach your kittens or cats to leave your flock alone? We have a kitten now and at first it was hilarious seeing him hang around them and try to smell and touch them but now some of them peck him really hard because they’re on the sassy side and I’m scared they’ll peck his eyes or something or he might try to play with them and hurt them ? He hasn’t been around them for that long like less than 10 times but when they’re free ranging and he is around he sits and stares at them or goes near them has anyone had this issue before how do you make your other pets leave the chickens alone ?

My cats bother chickens = cat chased away, my chickens bother cats, the cats move away!
