I am a preschool teacher in the Dallas area looking for eggs for my classroom. In past I've been able to get eggs from my students parents and friends, but those are not options this year. I'd be willing to get buy some shipped eggs, but ideally I'd like to find them locally. I'd like to be able to give the chicks back to the person I get the eggs from. I have a Brinsea Mini incubator, and am only able to hatch 7 eggs.

Does anyone know where you can find eggs in the Dallas area? And does anyone know of somewhere that would be willing to take free chicks in the Dallas area?

I sent you a PM. I'll give you eggs if you can pick them up.

Thank you so much to those who have pmed me. I've sent a couple replies.

It's looking like I might need to get shipped eggs instead. I was planning on trying to get the eggs this weekend, but I received news over the weekend that my grandfather is terminally ill, and I will need to take a trip out of town this weekend to go see him.

I am interested in any breed, however, I just need a small batch. My bator can only hold 7 eggs, so I need less than a dozen. Also, if anyone in interested in taking the chicks once they hatch, please let me know.
