k, I haven't read all the replies. So If I just copy someone...I'm sorry. I just had to reply quick. one of my dogs is an Airedale terrier mix. She's an AWFUL farm dog. Great Pet dog. Great trail dog. Great kid dog. AWFUL farm dog. Her hunting instincts are SOO strong and sharp, it's incredible. She listens really well when we're right there with her. But we could NEVER leave her out with chickens free ranging. She just can't help herself. So if you MUST free range your chickens, I say do it when your'e right there with your dog, or put your dog up for that time. It's just in their blood. Bless their heart. They really are great DOGS...but not around little birdies
