Sadly, my dog used my barred rock as a chew toy this afternoon. The bird will be okay (which is good, as she is the SWEETEST hen!), but she's pretty plucked in places. The dog has always been gentle and protective of the birds, but a bit more assertive with the rock, as she's the top bird of the flock. Thank Heaven summer vacation starts tomorrow, and I can do some serious training. Sigh..
