My personal opinion on animals in heaven are; yes, there are animals in heaven. But no, they DO NOT have a soul.
I think in the old testament, the animals GOD said were clean are in heaven, but any animals that are not clean are not there. And when animals die they don't just go to heaven, they turn into nothingness. GOD created animal's in heaven specifically to be in heaven. So they are clean in his presence.

I think I agree with you. My parents always said dogs probably won't go to heaven because they don't have a soul. I don't think animals from earth will go to heaven because there will probably be better animals up there. Not sure if what I'm trying to say makes any sense

I view this subject a little differently because I believe different then most people on what happens when humans die.

But for animals, all are God's wonderful, beautiful, creation. When he creates the new earth, I believe that ALL animal kinds will be there. What sense would it make to have Cows, deer, and sheep, and then kick out horses, dogs, and rabbits? All were part of God's original perfect plan for creation before the fall and I believe they will be again after sin and Satan are destroyed forever. I believe they will be in heaven as well. I'm not saying that the earth animals will go to heaven, but there will be animals there.

Just a thought.

Yes a kind of agree with you. I think there will be animals in heaven but maybe not the same ones we have down here. Like if your dog dies I don't think it will be in heaven. But I don't know... I guess we'll see when we get there.

Just my opinion- I think all the animals, pets or otherwise- will go to heaven. You don't have to agree with me but it's just what I believe

Just think, God made sure to save animals during the flood, and it's all because of us that they were brought into sin. They have done nothing wrong and God cares so much about all the little things that I wouldn't be surprised if they were in heaven with us.

Well we never know right, God is the ONLY one that knows because he is sooo good. But yes, you are probably right about that. But in my belief, which doesn't have to be yours, He saved animals because He loved them and wanted us to have food as well. We can agree to disagree! ;-)

I agree he does love them. I forget which verse says so but it says not even a little sparrow will fall without him noticing. I guess we'll find out when we get there.
