So I have two girls who have been very broody in the last couple months - "Mamacita" and "Madame curie".
Mamacita sets most of the day through. Last night I put her in a coop where she can be isolated from the other chickens, on a test batch of 6 eggs, but leaving the door open so she can come out in the day for food and water. Today I noticed her leave the coop and run about, and then saw Madame get up there and take her place setting on the clutch, almost seamlessly.

I'm wondering if i should try to isolate and Mamacita, i.e., box her in, and have her totally separated, to get her to hatch a clutch, or should i isolate the two of them as a team... or ... just let them all do as the please and let nature take it's course and see what happens?

In any case, I am so excited.
