Grew up on Sci Fi. Been a Trekkie since 67. Resisted watching Chris Pine in the remakes for as long as I could and expected to hate them. Nope. IMHO think he does Kirk better than Shatner did it.

Loved the three original Star Wars movies. Even got to have lunch with Dave Prowse at a convention in Denver back in 80. When the next generation films came out I suffered through the next three. Watched one of the third generation and refuse to watch the rest. The original three were the best but when they killed off Han Solo that was it for me.

Other favorites, Guardians of the Galaxy, Operation Cloverfield to name a couple. Books, The Dragon Riders of Pern, especially the ones written by McCaffery.
