I know you said about roosters... But I'm also in a town. I managed to keep Pickles and Kiwi for months before I decided they needed more hens (and rehomed them), but I never got a complaint. Also Darwin is crowing rn, but his crows are rubbish so I'm keeping him until he gets louder

I don’t want to get chicks that are not from a reputable source. The only chick place opens in spring. I will be ok looking at the peanuts for now… hopefully!🤣😉
