Hello! So as of today, all of my chicks are 3 weeks old. They’re growing quickly and developing beautiful feathers.. well, except one. We have one tiny chicken who is half the size of the others. It has quite a few feathers on its wings and feet but other than that, nothing. Everyone else has a noticeable amount more. Should I be worried?

I am new to chickens but I can tell you if it was a little runt puppy or kitten - as long as he is eating/drinking, alert and active, i would do nothing.
In general though, if something seems wrong on the outside, sometimes things are wrong on the inside. Example: congenital defects eg liver shunt
You should share a picture so we can see the little one.
wishing you the best of luck

Are they cornish x or some other type of meat bird? Or are they layers?

Just a good mix of different breeds. Not Cornish. It’s the tiny one, lighter colors.

your post was almost 2 years ago. How is the chick grown since then. I have silkys, the gray one is normal size for her age -4 1/2 weeks. The white one is also a silky, 10 days old and is not progressing like they should normally as far as fluff and feathers. The older one has taken the white "under her wing" taking on the mommy role, and they are inseparable. they both chirp if i take the other one out of the brooder. I was just wondering how your chick progressed.

I would also like to hear from you about how your little chicks progressed, as I also have 3 new ones here, currently at 4 weeks old, and one of them is a lot smaller than the other 2. Here too the small one hides under the wings of one of the big ones, as if she was her adopted mom : )

Doppy has grown a little bit more. its feathering on the wings has grown more in a week but body fluff is not coming in too fast. My other new borns have more fluff. It eats well and is a really fast runner. It copys everything that "mom" does. I will get some pics up tomorrow.
