Teks Roofing screws for hardware cloth?

Has anyone used these for attaching hardware cloth? They're for securing metal roofing and seem to have a metal washer in addition to the plastic/neoprene washer,

Depends on What you are securing the hardware cloth to. It's its metal they would be fine as those are self drilling screws for sheet metal.
Wood - no. Not enough grip in the threads.

I bought #12 stainless screws and appropriate stainless washers to fit both head of screw and holes on hardware cloth.

They are rated for pressure treated wood, so I would assume they could be used on sheathing or other treated wood like 2x4?.

I used something similar. I used pole barn screws:

I really like the rubber washer. I think it grabs the wires better and secures the hardware cloth very well.
