Once there was a mortal who through her deep studies and skilled magic, was able to ascend to god hood. The name of this mortal was Eleri. As you most likely know, it is impossible for a god to die. As Eleri continued her journey through life, she quickly became board of her powers and craved more. She turned into a dictator from the ancient ages and destroyed anyone in her path. Most people joined her, only from fear that they would die if they did not.
However, one person did rise. A young man named Davor, a young magician. Eleri, dismissing him as only a minor threat ignored his cries, and his attempts to sabotage her army. This was a continuous cycle for years.
Until he faced her.
Davor stood in front Eleri, you could see nothing extrodanary about ether of them. Eleri shoot at Davor, determined to get this pest out of her way, but it was a mistake. Davor held up a hand open a portal to another dimension, and Eleri went tumbling through.
Eleri was forever trapped in the realm, and began to lose her sanity from lack of contact with life. She tried to destroy herself, pulverizing herself into nothing but ash. Still, her body regenerated. Each time she came back a bit more deformed, her ability to speak a little less. Slowly she transformed into what we know as a Horrorterror, a monster of nightmares.
Even now, she still fights to get back into our world through dreams.
