Tell me about my new babies! Pics included

A VERY nice women gave me 8 silkie eggs, 7 of the 8 hatched. I don't know very much about silkies so tell me a little about these guys. They are 12 days old. What color are mine? At what age can you tell their sex? And anything else you think I should know about silkies. Thanks

And just this one looks like this. I know he looks similar to the first one but he has a dark body but his head and chest are yellow( he was shy and wouldn't look at the camera)

They're not pure silkies, they have smooth feathering.

Are you sure there Silkies???? feathers are to smooth I believe

I have two Silkies.....

Silkies have dark skin and dark feet/beaks

They also appear to have fur, not feathers

Hopefully they'll grow into it? Good Luck!

Maybe Silkie/Cochin or Silkie/Brahma mixes?

I was kind of wondering that. But thats okay I just wanted them for broodies. Do silkie crosses still go broody often like silkies do? I think maybe they are from a mixed flock but the mom was a silkie. One of the chicks not pictured(I'll take a pic later and post it) Looks quite a bit different(not color wise) but it has a umm a knobby head!? I thought it was deformed but it seems okay.
