My DH puts up with all the "phases" we go through around here (with only a little grumbling, which I now realize is verbal resignation to his situation

).

As in, we are now entering the "chicken" phase. LOL!

He packs the girls school lunches too. Oh, and he's going to build me a new coop!

He has put up with me for almost 18 years and the critters..Some time I think that he don't like all the critters and then he will make me a new pen or bring me one home... So he can say he don't like them, but I know that if they make me happy he ok with them..
He is a good dad to our daughter...

OH!! And while this makes reason #2, it is a very important one....

My hubby is great because he participates in everything that I want to do. Whatever we do, we find a way to do it together.

He is MacGyver in the garage... he can make or fix anything.

He is a great dad who takes the time and patience to teach his boys all the important stuff in life from the proper way to fish/hunt to holding doors for ladies.

He makes me laugh, he boosts my ego, he's my high school sweetheart for the last 26 years, 20 of those in marriage.

And most of all, he's darn fun. He'll do anything I ask him to do. Here's proof:

My DH is something else, how many guys would travel 243 miles to ride 1/2 that distance home with 2 adult turkeys to have them walk away with the wild ones...and never say "I told you so".
Also joined the poultry club I belonged to so we could spend more time together!
MY mom likes him and he helps me care for her- and that is darn near a miricle.
