Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

I brought an injured fledgling baby robin into the animal shelter today (they have rehab people there for certain critters) crows were after the two babies.....I heard the squawking and went out to see and one was on my roof and doing well but one was hurt and lying in my driveway.....I didn't want to interfere cause mama was in the tree just above. So I put it in the flower pot til morning. This morning it was warm and still breathing (and obviously fed by mama ) but ants were bothering it and a few flies were landing on it

So I packed it up in an Easter basket and took it over. They said call tomorrow to see how it is. awwwww at least I gave it a chance!

Woke up this meaning to find that all of my chicks survived the night. They were still sleeping even when I checked on them at 6:30 in the morning. And my little bantam's eye finally opened! They are all looking good and my faverolle had the nerve to poop on me a second time. He/she is such a spitfire!

Found out today that starting in July, Ken will receive his disability and the payments are enough to cover the rent in full. This is such a HUGE relief for us. It looks like we may actually be able to afford the rings we picked out, the cake we want and more than sandwiches at our reception.
