The husband started his new job today!!! Thats a month and a half of double pay until he is offically retired from the USMC on Oct 1st. It was crazy strange to see him leave for work NOT wearing a uniform after over 20 years.

AND I had a runner duck hatch over night.

Oh yeah, and we went home to Tucson over the weekend for a real quick visit and to spread some of my Dad's ashes there, successfully avoiding running into my crazy mother while we were there.

Had a ncie family day with the kids at the movies and the fair yesterday. Also, I got to talk to my brother online ( whose stationed in Kuwait). It's always nice to talk to him. And he's hoping to be out of the army and home for the holidays

Went to THE state fair yesterday and the weather was perfect and then the hubby bought a sleep number bed! I'm psyched for the new bed to come now.

Went to the local sakery and was poured a taste of my very favorite one

I paid for my school books and tuition (a whopping $3000) BUT it's done, over with, I can breathe (I think) and I no longer have to fight over what courses I should and would and could have taken!

Oh and it's not 100 degrees!

Set a date AND secured a truck to borrow for two weeks from now when I, as of today, get my very first goats!!!

I got to start helping 4 young ladies hopefully get ahead in life being young single mothers. Plus, still incubating away, till the power goes out - aka I physically can't go on - or till the boys pip.

I started a journal yesterday in which I write at least 1 good thing that happens to me every day. My good thing for today is that I believe I FINALLY have another hen laying.... now if she can only figure out what all those nesting boxes are for and not lay the rest on the ground near the poop....
