Tell me what are Saramas like??

Juliette,

Wow! They are cute! How old are they there? They look funny looking with the curled wing-feathers. Haha. Nice!

We absolutely love our Seramas and they arent as hard to care for as I was originally told. Mine are cold hardy I just put up lamp for comfort. The biggest problem I have is keeping their wing and tail feathers in tip top shape. One of my hens don't even know shes a chicken. She is afraid of all the other birds.

Snorglisush! Here are my fist pair, Molly and Rohaus overwinterering their first winter in my solarium.

I raised them from this crew.

Now they're outside in a nice little coop of their own with Mandee - Rohaus' other wife, and Molly's sitting on 4 eggs which are due to hatch mid next week.

I love them completely!

Adding a new post to this old thread. We are newbies and have two Seramas in our flock of 15. My son predicts this 7 week old, called "Mama" is actually going to be a Papa. Thoughts? Any chance she's a hen?

I have one Micro right now that is about 5 weeks old and is about the size of a 9V Battery still...

I'd love to see her.
My smallest bird ever is turning 3 months old.

I see this is an old thread.
Computer is still locking up constantly on BYC.
