Telling a Barred Rock chick form a Sex-link chick?????Please Help????

I think that pic # 2 is your black sexlink, and the barred rocks could be girls if there white spot is not tight and a little blotchy or spread out. I read it on feathersite, also my are all pullets and they all have the loose white spots on there heads. Stormy

I found feathersite to be really helpful. You might go there and check it out and see if that can help you decide more accurately? It has excellent pics of both boys and girls and how to tell the diff. Goodluck with your chicks.

so they are a barred Rock Dominique cross and still boys. #2 is a black sex-link Boy or girl.

I was wrong, I went back and reread the article, and you are right ,

If Cull means what I think it means noway. The world needs boys too.

Cull can mean sell or kill. In essence it just means "remove from the flock." However you do it is up to you.
