Telling my ducklings apart

So I have 4 Cayuga duckling and they are all identical looking right now. I am trying to handle each one equally but it's hard to know who's been handled. What's an easy way to mark them so I can know who's who??

How about a spot of nail polish on their toenails, or a dot on their head with a paint pen?

Pen or anything on the head is a bad idea! The other ducklings will peck at it and could seriously injure each other! Don't put marks on any obvious and visible body parts

Just do the best you can do, and don't stress over handling each one exactly equally. Remember, they're flock animals, if you have just one duckling that gets double the cuddles then that one will pass on that trust to the flock. I agree, I would not mark them in any way.
