I have 5 ducks, two Blue Swedish and three Cayuga. I am pretty sure one if not both of the Blues are drakes, and I think one of the Cayuga is a drake.
I read that the females develop the deep quack sooner than the drakes, and the drakes tend to have the peep for a little bit longer than the females.
If that is true, then I have 3 drakes.
I won't be keeping any drakes, so I want to figure out which are, so I can rehome them.

Voice sexing is the best way. At 8 weeks your females should be quacking. Males may be peeping, whistling or raspy. The males do develop slower. Pick each one up individually, walk it away from the others and see what sound it makes.
I moved them to the new coop yesterday, and banded them as I moved them. Sounds like 3 out of 5 are drakes.
