telling which are roosters or hens?

HE has pretty big wattles and comb, I would say - almost sure, but I have the first generations of chickens myself, so it would be better if an chicken expert "confirmed" it;)

I have closer pictures of this chicken under the forum what breed is it. Let me know if those pictures help

good pics, hopefully you will know for sure soon from the breed forum. Please let us know what they say.

I will. I'm afraid all five chickens I got when end up being roosters

I sure know the fear you're feeling! We all go through it, beginning in the sixth week, wondering if this chick or that will end up being a roo.

I'm sweating one chick right now, hoping every day her comb stays pale and doesn't begin to redden. By six or seven weeks, the roos begin to get red combs. Some breeds begin to get vivid and colorful feathers if they're boys. If they're really pretty, start worrying!

OH really? Hopefully isn't a hen. I can handle having one rooster and having to give it away but not three. what are some signs its a hen? Do you think there's any possibility they could look like roosters but still be a hen

I do not think that other ones are roos. I have suspisions about only one of them. Try not to worry. I would take your roo if you were in Seattle Wa area. I would take all your roos, guys

. I do not want sound mean, but the roos are extremly delicious. I keep my chickens not as pets (although my husband sees it differently), but as flock - this is how they historically meant to be. so even if it is a roo , keep him until he matures and start crowing, then, may be try to think of him as a good animal to eat. I think it is better than to drop him in the animal shelter - which seems to be a tendency later, and I do not think it is a good tendency.
