I used to have a tem. Tragopan male, he was so friendly, he would eat grapes out of my hand, hope you have fun with him.

They also prefer to be areal nesters, keep that in mind when building your nest boxes, higher the better for most

I have been told to build a tall aviary! He will be a 'pet' for awhile so I hope he becomes quite tame. The breeder says he will eat treats from his hand which is a good sign. One question, just a plain platform for nesting or a box? I don't have a female yet so it isn't all that important at the moment.

Those of you who do breed these pheasants please keep in mind I will need a girl!
