Hi everyone,
I intend to breed Temminck's Tragopan pheasant.
But I am confusing because some documents say that "Tragopans are very monogamous birds" while the others say it could keep 1 Cock with some hens.

So, anyone has pratical experience regarding breeding Temminck's Tragopan, please provide with advice.
Thanks

I have atrio of saytrs, but only 1` seems to be laying. They all get along fine so I guess it's ok.
In N.H.,Tony.

I have a two year old fully colored male, a one year old male, and two one year old hens. They are in a large aviary, but still the mature male fights the younger male. I do not think the younger male ever dares to go near the hens. I collected eight eggs from the two hens that were laying, and after candling, six are fertile. So I guess the two year old male was breeding both of the younger hens.

Hi,
