Yesterday, my DH "accidentally" unplugged my hatcher and did not realize it until about an hour or so later. The temp had dropped to 70 and the humiditiy was about 50 when I got home. This happened early on day 19.

Do you think they could have survived?

all you can do is plug them in and keep on trying. If they did get that cold and live, it might take them an extra day or two to finish "cooking" and hatch, so don't give up at 21 anda half days... good luck!

I would leave the eggs in an extra 3 days at least. Check out my story on my website at http://www.geocities.com/A1JerseyGiants4u to see details on our Miracle hatches inspite of our 52 hour power outage. The eggs were due to hatch in 1 week and 2 weeks. Our incubator went from 100 degrees down to 72 degrees. Let me know if you have any other questions. Maria's Jersey Giants, Since 1976

I have had eggs get cold while the mommy was sitting on them before and they still hatched after I brought them into the house and put in the incubaotr. Just get it stable again and see what happens.

I tried to follow the link, but got an error.

Thanks, everyone, for the advice. Here's hoping that at least a couple of them made it....

At day 19 the eggs are more hardy than we give them credit for !! It's better that this happend on day 19 and not 5. Keep em in there they still have a good chance !! They could be delayed so give em some extra time !!
