Well I got a new thermometer, it is teh brinsea spot check and I put it into my bator last night and it read that my temp was HI so I opened the bator and let some air and heat out and it went down. i attempted to adjust the temp by trying to tell when the thermestat in the bator would turn on and got it to turn on right around 99.8 so that I had a little room both directions if something went wrong. I went to bed thinking that I had finaly adjusted the temp and I didnt need to worry about it because I got the brinsea and then I woke up to a bator that was92 degrees. What are the chances that my eggs will still develope? They have been in there for 6 days today and I was going to candle them tomarrow. Do I have any chance that they will be ok?

Don't give up! Get right back on temp and you'll probably still have some hatch.

Don't give up~! I lost power while I was at work, I got home & the temp was 72, have no idea how long it was off, I still had a decent hatch!

First time doing this here. My temps have been all over the place from day one and I can't get my incubator to stay at an even temp. I don't even worry about the humidity anymore as long as it is above 25. But I still have chicks growing on day 14. It drove me crazy in the begining but I really don't worry that much about anything anymore. As long as it is between 98 and 102 I'm good to go. I'm pretty sure that the temp is around 100 most of the time and that the dips and spikes are just temporary. The temps have gone in both directions so many times I don't know If I should add days or subtract them from the hatch date. All I know is that on day 18 I go into lockdown and whatever is hatched by day 25 is what I'm getting. I really don't know what I'm doing so maybe ignorance is bliss.
