Ok usually i don't worry but for some reason right now the temp in the incubator is everywhere it doesn't drop below 95 or above 103 usually and the eggs are growing but is there any way to stabilize the temp its crazy and i don't want to kill them the incubator is 2-3 years old if that is any indicator it is also a little giant the eggs are on days 6 I think it may have to do with weather though because the temp outside isn't any better they are silkie eggs and i am afraid of deformities

How many eggs do you have in there? Has it been swinging this way since you started these eggs? What day are they on? Have you checked for warm and cold spots in the incubator? That's an other concern. It may read 103 in one location, and actually be 106 in an other spot. If the incubator is not packed full of eggs, you might be able to help it stabalize by adding some thermal mass: some sterile rocks, or a couple of bottles full of warm water. Are these hot/cold cycles constant every time the heater cycles, or are they more of a day/night thing? If it's the latter, you might try wrapping the bator in a blanket. Might try that anyway. Can you borrow a bator from someone else to finish this hatch?

1. We have 9 eggs
2. It has been like this since the eggs were in there maybe not enough eggs?
3.they are on day 6
4.Its a still air the thermometer is on top of/next to the eggs
5.The temp fluctuations tend to happen randomly
6. this is the only incubator I have contact with at the time
7. it is highly possible there are warm and cold spots because of it being a still air

Just thought i would add the incubator is most stable at night
