Hi people! I was wondering, what temp should I put my incubator on for the testing? It needs to run for 8 hours and I don’t really know what temp to put it on… it says 99.5 as the pre-set one. Thanks!

99.5°F - 100°F.
98.5°F at the lowest.

Also, make sure you have separate calibrated thermometers, & Hygrometers to make sure conditions are correct in the incubator.

Monitoring indoor temperature, & humidity is a good idea too.

just wondering.. what is this plastic for?

Have you calibrated the hygrometer with the salt test?

The plastic is so the thermometer can set on top of the eggs.
OHHHHHH thank you so much!!
no I haven’t but I will do that tomorrow. Thanks so much, you’re so helpful!

Unless they made some improvements, the built in hygrometer will be the first thing to quit working. I have the same incubator and still use it. It does a great job but definitely be prepared.
