temp/humidity

All new gages came in for my new batch . I'll be posting pics and messages each day on these for I lost all my last.. I'm new to this and dont wanna lose another batch. Can anyone tell me what temp and humidity levels should always be and what day for lockdown and what the temp and humidity has to be then. I lost my last on lockdown and it was so sad. Any info is better than none. Can you help me out??

Congrats on getting your sensors! Did the Xiaomi come in too?
If I remember correctly your incubator has a fan, so with a fan you want to run at 37.5 celcius. If you are at lower elevations I would suggest a humidity setting of no greater than 45%.

Yes, thank you for your reply. But I'm lost on the xiaomi.. lol I even looked that up and still dont know what the xiaomi. But yes it's got a fan.

So 100.4 is a good temp farenheit.. ya last time I had them at 45 all did great till lock down. Can you tell me what day I lock them down on I think its day 16but not sure

Lockdown usually starts on day 18. The temp most use is 99.5 F. The humidity really depends on the eggs... The porosity of them and quality. You most likely will have to figure out what humidity is best for you because people can tell you what humidity works for them but that's not always what's going to work for you.

I think the humidity that you are at right now is a bit high if it's the first 18 days. I would try to get it down under 40% for the first 18 days.

Then I would wait until your first external pip to see where your humidity goes because when they start externally pipping they release humidity into the incubator. You don't want to have it too high because if you see that humidity spike when they start externally pipping, you might start getting condensation which is never a good thing.

Ok .. and there gonna be white quail. Now dont they start hatching by day 19?? Maybe I'm wrong but there not backyard chicks.

My factory gages are off also it's at 37.2c but only reading 98.8f I think that's low. I also have other thermometers in the bottom. Cause it's a few degrees hotter in the bottom and that's how I lost my last set of babies. So I dont go by the factory ones at all.
