Temp in my Incubator

NO........... The heat shold come back on by at least 99.5. Try to keep the temp between 99.5 & 101.5. Temps that vary that much will kill any chicks you are trying to hatch.

Uh-oh. I was afraid you were going to tell us this.

The fact that people use these water heater thermostats does not mean they are well suited. Most who do emply them soon get rid of them.
They require lengthy exeprimentation to get them even close to stable enough - and that usually doesn't work.
They really are not suited to the sort of tight control we require in an incubator. Thats the bad news.

The good news is that a simple wafer switch will give you the control you need for $15-$17.

These have been used for about 75 years with good effect. They are perfect for first timers.

These are being sold wrongly - they are not "electronic" and they are not well suited to incubators.
