Temp question

It should be, but doesn't really have to be. If the room temp is stable, it will theoretically make it easier for your incubator to stabilize too. But the room I have my homemade bator in goes up and down 10-15 degrees, and I can keep the temp pretty stable by monitoring it and making minor adjustments as needed.

Depending on how well insulated your bator is, the more consistent the room temp is the better. My bator does fine long as I dont have swings up and down like in the winter months. The day to night swings are slower and the bator seems to do better. Mine sits right in my living room so I can keep an eye on it.
