Temp spike day 20!!!!

Made my own incubator. Everything was going well, temps within range, humidity levels great. Candled my eggs last night to see if there were any internal pips. Covered the incubator with a towel to bring temps back up quickly. I forgot the towel and went to bed, until 5am when I remember what I had done. Ran down stairs to see the temp was at 106F!

They are gone, right?

Not necessarily. Keep plugging along. It's not over until it's really over! Give them until day 23.

Thats what I was thinking. Give them a few more days. This is my first time so I was hoping for at least 2 to hatch. Set 6 and am down to four. One was a dude and the other had a blood ring on day 8

Good news! Just candled my eggs and saw movement in all 4!!
