temp spike...i need help!!!!!!!!!!!

my temperature spiked to 105.7 while i was at school! are my eggs okay?!?!??! theyve only been in there since 9:00 last night....will any hatch!?!?!?!? im scared!!!

Hey rocky. what was the temp before. di u rectify the temp. I( fix it ?) . If you did then they should be ok i think for now i'd let it stay between 98. and 102.5 thats a good range.

They might be ok. I depends on how long the temp was at 105.7. Just try and steady the temp as best you can and wait and see come hatching time! Best of luck and keep us posted!

thanks guys i will! im afraid if i put it at 98 it will drop instead of spike....but i guess it hasnt dropped yet so if i left it at 98 the most it would probaby spike is to 102....it was 102.7 this morning well im gonna get back to working on it....thanks again!

well the temp spiked again while i was at school...i left the temp was 98.7 but it decided that it like 106.7 better! why does this keep happening?!?!?!!?!?! its really making me angry!

That has happened to me before. Mine was at 99.7 when I left for work and it spiked to 104.2 when I got back. I got so nervous about the eggs that I have to install the Ranco 111000 thermostat and set it to 100 degree for cutoff temperature and kicks in at 99 degree. This provided me a lot piece of mind know that they are okay when I am not around. I used to have the hot water heater but it didn't work out for me, I like the digital readout rather than guessing on the temperature value. Good luck on hatch.

well they were fine until my stepdad had to get an emergency surgery during the weekend my mom was sposed to b turning the eggs so they didnt get turned for 3 days...we threw them away and plan on starting again sometime....
