Not sure if this is a problem or not but temp and humidity have been running great but today after removing the turner the temp went to 100.8 and has not went down. Have used this incubator
a couple of times and never had this issue. Is this a problem or am I worrying needlessly?

Thanks

You might need to adjust it. There are some lttle(tiny levers) under the lid. Follow the directions to change the settings. I had to adjust mine recently after not being used for a year, could be me.

not to worry.. you had it open, it is searching for the correct temp..

just watch it.. perhaps if you add some water and raise the hum the temp might drop some..

I agree...up the humidity and the temp should come down a bit. Give it time to adjust. It could also be due to moving your thermometer to another position that is making it more sensitive and reading higher.

The temp and the humidity will rise until the chicks hatch. It is thier body temp knicking in. If the humidity has been around 55%, it might go as high as 70% with nothing to worry about. I would not make any adjustment at all. You are well within safe range.

day 19 , the eggs will start to make heat , if you have a bator full you'll notice, I had 20 chicks hopping around tuesday and the temp went up to 101 because of the body heat.
