Is it bad for birds to go through temp swings during the day-night? At night the coop temps go as low as 20 and the day the temps reach in the 40's. When there is snow on the ground they never come outside. They dig in the straw in the covered run and when it gets below 20 outside they never come out of the coop. I have been just letting them do what they want. John

Doesn't sound bad to me. If it were much huger swings, like 65 in daytime and 20 at night, *that* would be more of a stress on them.

Good luck, have fun, stay warm
