Temp way too high first night!!

Hey all,

Last night, I put on around three dozen eggs at a constant temp around 100 degrees F. This morning, however, I woke up to a temperature of about 105 degrees F. I estimate that they were at this temp for around nine hours. I've cooled them down to the right temperature at this point, but I don't know how much damage has already been done. If you guys could please help me out, I would really appreciate it.

If they were at 105 for any extended period of time then it's a high probability that it would kill the viability. I would still give it three or four days (if the eggs aren't real dark) and candle for development. Are you going by a known accurate independent thermometer or are you going by the read out on the bator and if you are, what kind of incubator is it?

Thanks, I'll definitely do that. I am using an accurate independent thermometer, and it is resting on the top of the eggs.
