Temp wont go above 95 on day 2 of lockdown...is this bad?

No, I do not. Do you use this inside the incubator? I have a cheap, little black rectangle digital celcius thermometer that came with the incubator that a lady gave me. It has a corded end that sits inside the incubator to measure humidity.

I found a travel alarm clock that measures temperature, and I put it inside the incubator last night to try and get an accurate reading in F.

If you had one you could measure the temperature of the egg shell, which would give you a better idea of how accurate your other thermometers are.

oh yes, that is such a great idea!  I'm learning so much.  Thanks!

There's a link that explains how to do it, but basically you want to measure the temp midline. Be sure to do it below the air cell line because the air space inside the shell will be much cooler. Does that make sense? To find the article, google "examining hatch debris" the one you want to look at is the one on the poultrysite link. Let me know if you can't find it.
