You want hold it steady but you will find the LG tends to fluctuate a bit with room temp. My advise would be to resist touching the knob every time you see the temp off just a bit. You will have lots of temp spikes if you are constantly trying to adjust. In a still air try to keep it around 101-102 if at all possible.
