Temp

  1. I am attempting my first hatch. Is it normal to have a slight temperature fluctuation in styrofoam incubators? It vacillates between a degree above and a degree below 100.

    It's nice to have incubators that are spot on, but that is hardly ever the case. The variations you are experiencing are well within range, & actually pretty good
     
  3. So everything's alright, then. Thanks for the help. I've seen some of the digital ones...pricey! The one I've got is just your basic Hovabator. I did splurge and get the turner, since I can be a bit absentminded. Wish me luck! I've got a wide mix of eggs, everything from some barred rock to a single Serama egg. Really crossing my fingers on that one!
