Temperary coop?

We have a large 2 room type dog house that we no longer use. Our chicks are going on 4 weeks old, would that work for a temporary coop while my husband finishes the larger permanate one? Im not sure of the actual footage. What would I need to add to it if anything? We want them to be able to get out during the day on nice days and then we will put them back in the garage if the weather dips to low, but its getting nice and the ducklings we have with our chicks are wanting more play time lol!

Any suggestions are appreciated!

YEp just make sure it is predator proof and cant turn over in the wind ... Otherwise it should work great....
