Temperature and Humidity for Hatching

The big noisy guy was moved to the brooder and now two more are popping! I don't think the very last egg will hatch but you never know. It's day 31. I never realized how long it took to hatch! I'm just happy most appear to be making it.
Make a safe hole for the last one and then SMELL inside, see if there is a bad odor..

AND WHERE ARE THE PICS??

WOOOO HOOOO YOUR PATENCE HAS PAID OFFF. WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

now for the mess. LOL

WOOO HOOOOO, come on CRACKER HEAD!!!

AND THE COMPETITION IS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make a safe hole for the last one..

Two are in the brooder and the third will be hatching soon probably. I don't see any movement from the 4th egg or any sign of life really. Once the third is hatched, I'll remove the 4th and candle it. It could be a quiter. By the way, the first one to hatch really picks on the second one I just put in with it. I figured I should separate them for a bit to give the second (and eventually third) time to recover and get their strength for fighting. I didn't realize how aggressive these little things could be!

Are you keeping them in the incubator for 24 hours at least??

I would go ahead and get the 4th one make him a safe hole, tap on the shell and put it to your ear listen for any sounds then smell inside your hole. otherwise at least with the safe hole, he's getting some air. They only have 20% air in there shell and he's been in there an awefully long time..

The three are doing fine together now in the brooder. The 4th egg is still in the incubator but I don't think there is anything alive in it. It shows no signs of moving. When candled it just looks dark (except for the air sack) and I see no movement inside. I suppose I could make the hole you suggest but I'm a little afraid it might explode on me or something. We'll probably toss it out tomorrow. It will be 34 days.

Safe hole should tell you, take it outside in case it does explode, it shouldn't but then again you never know..

some chickens off.

If your humidity is bouncing around put something in the water to help get it more stabled like a sponge or paper towels

You can go to my website I have incubating tips there any method will work just don't combine them
