My chicks are 5 weeks now and I know they cant go out until 6-8 weeks but at what temperature range is it ok for them to move out? When its above 50 more consistently ? Or higher? Thanks!!

They can go out when they are acclimated to outside temperatures. It all depends on your circumstances. I raise mine in June and they are done with heat by 4 weeks. Time of year and your temperatures will affect acclimating.

You need to acclimate them by lowering the brooder temperature weekly until they are feathered enough or it matches outside temperatures. Generally the last few weeks you can put them out during the day and put them back in the brooder at night to help finish acclimating. Otherwise moving the heat source with them for a week or so can help too.
