my electric went off while I was sleeping and when I woke up the temperature dropped to 93 degrees.I hooked the generator up and the temp went back up. the eggs were only in the incubator for about 3 days. will it hurt the eggs?

Well I haven't incubated yet, but i've read stories much worse than this and they hatched. I'd say keep going and candle them in a few days and see what ya' see. I built an incubator last weekend and I'm hoping to find some test eggs to set Friday. I'm gonna use a battery backup for a computer to curb this from happening to me.

So long as they where fine before the temp drop there is nothing wrong with them now. Have had it happen a few times my self and always turned out fine. Hens get off the nest once a day to poop/eat so when this happens I think of it like that.

Shouldn't be a problem at all. Happy hatching!

Thanks I will try to candle in a few days. New to this so I have alot of questions. Using a sportsman 1502 incuator so it's been doing most of the work for me.
