The heating element in the 9200 takes a bit to heat up and to cool down after it's off. It could just be that it is subpar heating for an actual digital thermostat. I'm not the engineering type, but that would be my hypothesis.

My bator runs a tad warm for the incubations and I usually hae my hatches day 19/20. All my chicks are strong and healthy.Good news, my modified little Giant has worked well. As I mentioned before, I changed out the stock temperature control dial and added a digital temperature controller I bought on eBay. I also added a computer fan with spacers for circulation. I am thinking the temperature must have been a little high as some of the eggs started hatching at the end of day 19, however, there are no visible birth defects or issues. Thank you for your help once again.
