Hi guys!
frow.gif

For two Pekin duck / ducklings{which I'm getting in March} what should the temperature be in the coop? And if I need some sort of heater/fan, which one should I get?
(Please make note if you're going to put the temperature in farheint. I'm used to celcius)
Thanks!

General rule of thumb with ducklings (you need to watch their behavior also, and provide areas in where they can move away from the heat source if they want to, but not too far).

32C the first week, dropping the temperature about 2.5 degrees C each week. That's 90F dropping 5F a week.

For heat, just please be sure you don't have a fire hazard. I will let those with more experience share their suggestions. I had mine in a room in the house, and a few ceramic heater bulbs. I used a thermometer in the brooder to be sure of the temperature.
