I bought a Little Giant 9200 used. I started it up, and after a few days of calibration, I got it dialed in. I set the eggs 24 hrs ago, had the temps bumped up to 104. I adjusted the thermostat but it jumped again to 106., I found a small fan and have it running but facing the wall to disperse the air movement, but it got up again.
The incubator thermostat reads 100 to 102, but the secondary thermo shows 104*106.
There is water for humidity, and several large rocks to help hold the heat steady. What am I doing wrong?

Using a Little Giant :p

No but seriously those incubators are horrible at holding temperature. And the built in temperature gauge is probably not accurate, so I would be trusting the the secondary one. And unfortunately 104 degrees is the temperature at which eggs are killed by excess heat, so if it really has been between 104 and 106 for awhile, the eggs are probably no longer any good :( You can bring the temperature down and wait a few days and candle just to be sure, but they may have died from the heat.
