first day in an incubator given to me and the thermometer was way off 5 degrees hotter than what it said so there may have been a temperature spike of 110 Fahrenheit as it had gone up to 104 ish on the thermometer when I was out it was probably only like this a few hours and i just put the eggs in this morning. Thoughts ??

That's a gray area. They could be fine, they could not be.

My experience tells me that won't go well.

Should be okay, I had a spike in the opposite direction.
Electricity went out on day 4 and temps dropped to around 70°F for three hours. 50% of the eggs hatched, had 1 malposition that survived. Its unfortunately a waiting game to see how it went.

I’ve read that lower temp spikes aren’t as harmful as higher temp but crossing my fingers I could just take them out and put a new batch in

A heat spike is exponentially more dangerous than a drop in temp.
